Deborah Langenstein, Director of Experiential Education & Career Services at Johnson & Wales University

Over 25 years of experience in higher education, experiential education and career services.

Currently oversee a staff of 7 Career Professionals in the areas of Experiential Education, Career Services & Advising; Develop departmental recruitment strategies in order to maintain a sufficient number of Experiential Education sites to accommodate an average annual placement of 475 students; Responsible for the coordination and supervision of campus recruitment activities and events for a student population of 1800; Maintain and develop a robust employer relations program in order to establish long-lasting relationships with employers for internships and post-graduate employment; Oversee departmental budget and annual plan with a focus on increasing the percentage of paid internship placements and employer visits to campus.
